So I like my build that I have right now, but when I built it I was a noob and didn't research all the components. So here's my chance to fix them. So I want to go with an I7 because me and some of my friends are starting a YouTube channel and I want to render videos fast. I'm getting 16GBs of RAM because I don't need 32 right now and the ridiculous speed is just for shits and giggles. The MoBo is an important one because of the placement of the PCIe slots. I need the top one to run at x16 speed and the very bottom one to run at x8 for when I'll go SLI (I'll do that later), the middle one is running at x4 and I'll put my capture card there. That's really all the important things you need to know for right now. What do you think?

I would suggest the same as lavdi. Might want to look over your storage solution again. As for the GPU you may want to look around while the GTX price drop is going on, across the border here in Canada I managed to pick up a 780ti for a fair bit cheaper.

I dont see the point in two 120 gb ssds except if you are going to do raid and i would probably go with a 980 or maybe 970 since it still outperforms the 780

This is an upgrade, not a whole new build. Everything that is purchased is in my build right now. And the two 120 SSD's are in raid 0.

I've had my 780 since last Christmas. Everything that is purchased is in my build right now. This is an upgrade, not a whole new build.
