Window 8 Audio Playback Default

Hello, 

 

I'm having problems with setting up audio with a capture card. I have an Avermedia Live Gamer Portable which is connected via HDMI and run as duplicate screen so I can still use the D-DVI for the monitor for the 144hz.  

 

 

The issue I'm having is getting the sound through the HDMI which is connected to the graphics card and windows won't let me set two default outputs. Is there a way to have two defaults or have it so they have sound simultaneously?

I did try using an AUX cable but it gives off a REALLY loud static in the background.
