You already have that build,right?

Nah,it's fine except some poorly optimised games which will b-neck a lot with the 8350.

If you want to ocerclock, you need to get a decent cooler first.

Gotcha. Thanks for the tip. :)

Would that help my boot times? Sometimes it seems like startup is a bit slow. If putting my OS on an SSD would speed things up then I may consider that.

Yup, it's been built for about a year. I do have an h100i on it and recently applied Arctic Silver 5 because the stock thermal compound was all dried up and crusty. :)

I would suggest getting a locked i5 instead

Well, you know how us crazy AMD fanboys are. Haha, but in reality, I would have to invest in a new mobo as well and I don't have the funds right now.

Would it help? LOL. It will blow your mind on how much faster it is on everything.

You should fanboy on AMD GPUs but not on their processors. They are bad but i wouldn't change either since you have to buy a mobo as well.

Yes an SSD would speed up your boot times quite a bit. A Crucial MX100 would be a good choice without spending too much. You can get the 256GB version for $99.99. This would give you space to put some games on too.

I am pretty happy with my 8350 though. :) I just think that AMD has better bang for the buck.

I like that idea, especially the idea that SSDs can be mounted anywhere. Transferring the OS from one drive to the other seems fairly simple. I have never done it before.
