Ok so I'm not sure how to word it but I'll start with giving you my current specs.

The parts are very close to 4 years old

CPU: AMD FX 6100

GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD 7850

PSU: OCZ Fatal1ty Semi Modular 550watt

MOBO: ASRock 970 Extreme 3

RAM: Corsair Vengeance 1600mhz 2x4gb

HDD: 2x500gb Barracuda's....

My CPU is on a custom water cooled loop. My GPU has coil whine. I have a Corsair Airflow over my Ram and use sleeved extensions in my system with I think an NZXT lighting kit (green)...

My Case is an NZXT Phantom 630

Now my pc is good still but I've noticed its much more slower than what it used to be, even after a New HDD and clean install etc...

Before the clean install I was getting continuous crashes and stuff when trying to play games, but gpu temps etc were all fine.. Afterwards, no issues...

What I'm having trouble deciding is if it would be better to just re-build a new system entirely or upgrade parts?

My monitor is starting to die too and I want to get a new 1, and a new mouse (since my 2011 death adder is driving me nuts with buttons not working)

The case I currently have also is HUGE... TOO HUGE... but not buying a new case would save money..

and I'm only really wanting to spend SOME money...

So my CPU feels slower, gpu not playing games I want properly anymore, not sure if psu is dying, ram seems fine, no idea if mobo is dead, hdd's are semi noisy and i want an ssd..

What would you do/suggest?

You need a new system. You might as well throw your PC in a dumpster and roll it down five flights of stairs.

I usually over clock beyond comprehension and let it die a "swift death" in a way
