Best Laptop Cooler

Hello people of the ltt community. 

 

My laptops built in fan is absolutely shite and my laptop overheats and throttles if i even think about loading a game. so i am looking for the best laptop cooler i can get to stop the aforementioned issues. so if anyone uses a laptop cooler can you please tell me which one you use and how much it lowers your laptops temperatures.

 

Or if anyone uses a custom fan setup like a piece of clear plastic with some fans attached. how well does that work?  


CPU Intel I7-4700MQ @2.4 ghz, turbos to 3.4 

Motherboard  whatever toshiba put in the thing

RAM 8GB 1600mhz 

GPU  Nvidia Geforce GT 740M  

Storage 750Gb 5400rpm   

Cooling  Crappy laptop fan 

Operating System  windows 8 64 bit

CM Storm SF (your laptop size here). Linus did a video on them and they're fantastic! Expensive, though.
