Need new microphone

Go to solution Solved by Feronix,

Alright, awesome! By the way, the microphone comes with a holder that I can screw onto the mic stand, right?

Should do, yes. Or at least most of them do but I'm not sure about your specific model, sorry.

No worries matey, audio can be quite confusing and also very personal but I'm happy to help :)

The Asus cards all come in a PCI version (DG, D2, ST) and PCI-E version (DGX, D2X, STX) so all of them ending with an X should be PCI-E compatible.

The cable should be fine, I use a similar one (from the Phantom Power: XLR > 6.3mm and then a 6.3>3.5 adaptor) and it's fine. The XLR end has to be female (holes) cause the microphone has a male (pins) XLR end. The 3.5mm jack should be male to go into the pink/red port on your computer/ sound card.
