Prodigy M windowed side panel?

So I was thinking if making a LAN rig and I was looking into the prodigy M. I saw the windowed side panels that are available for the right side except they completely get rid of the I/O which is usually there. Does anybody know if they just completely get rid of the I/O or do they have some work around?
