CPU Failure

I just put my I7 4790k and now when I turn my pc on, I get a flash on my motherboard with cpu_led and VGA_led the heatsink on the cpu spins and my 780ti fans spin it. The red lights flick once each then loop over. Any help?

Post mobo brand, model and revision is possible.

Yep, probably needs a BIOS update but can't help without the make and model of board

After fooling with it for 2 hours I got it working. Thanks for the advice.
