It's PTT. So you gotta press Z to activate your mic. (I may have remapped mine to Z due to the MW2 days. Check your keybindings :P)

So I wanted to play BO2 with a couple of friends and speak in-game my microphone is working and the level indicator shows I am talking but when in my own lobby I can't see the icon change to me talking? is this a common issue as it's happened in all the CoD's so far

PS: Yes it's CoD... so? I play it with friends sometimes...
