I am fairly new to pc building. I currently have an alien ware x51 r2 and u want to upgrade pc but cant upgrade the x51 because of its small form factor design.

I plan to remove the CPU, GPU, RAM, and HDD and use them in the new build; and get a new motherboard (one inside the x51 is not transferable), PSU (standard one that comes with the x51 is non-transferable), Case (x51 case is the problem), new CPU cooler, and get an SSD for some speed.

Parts i have:

CPU: i7 4770k

GPU: GTX 670

RAM: 8gb DDR3

HDD: 2Tb western digital

Parts i am looking at:

Case: corsair air 240

Motherboard: Gigabyte G1.SNIPER M5

PSU: corsair CMX 600w modular

SSD: Samsung 840 120gb

CPU Cooler: Corsair 120mm H80i

Can i Have some advice please on weather I have got the right parts and weather they are compatible with one and other.

Why do u need to build a new one.. and yes all of the parts above are compatable...... we just need more info than 'gigabyte' for the motherboard

ideally I would like to SLI later down the road and have more room to add extra HDD's. The upgrade is mainly for expandability down the road as the x51 is very limited on the upgrades you can do; the best you can really do is ram and HDD. But then you are limated on ram because it only has 2 slots  The X51 is a good pc. I would not say the it was excellent because of its many floors like how loud the fans are all the time even when the computer is idling. For example when you are watching a film in the background you can always hear the fans. The temperatures that it gets to are rather shocking as well. To the point that I can not play some new games like TitanFall for more the 30 minutes because the GPU temperature gets to around 91 degrees.

Also it says above "Gigabyte G1.SNIPER M5"
