Hi Guys, sorry if this thread already exists. I looked around but was unable to find what I'm looking for:

 

I originality wanted to get the CM Storm Quickfire Stealth with Brown Switches. (Writing on the sides of the key caps)

 

I wasn't able to find it and i wanted a keyboard with no writing on the tops of the key caps

 

I already ordered a Das Keyboard 4 Ultimate: (All Black)

 

So... Did i screw myself?

 

I cant type without glancing down at the keyboard. I will be trying to get better so that i no longer need to look down.

 

I love the way it looks and i'm hoping that it keeps my girl off my PC (passwords annoy me)

 

Was this a good or bad decision in regards to me not being a typist.

 

Will it help me get better? or am i in for weeks or even months of headaches?

Sexy board, if you like buttons with no labels on them then it's a good choice.

Logan from Tek Syndicate ordered a DAS keyboard and is doing a review on it soon.

 

I think they're good though from the looks. A mechanical keyboard is a mechanical keyboard.

 

If you need to see the characters on the keyboard, you can order Cherry caps since they use those switches.

I actually learned how to type without looking at the keys by accident. I type a lot and after awhile I just stopped needing to look down. If you remember where the keys are it shouldn't be too difficult.

It may take some time but you will get used to it.

You'll get used to it soon. Most of the time when looking down you're not reading what letter you're on, just seeing your fingers' position and that's enough to understand where you are/what you're pressing.

Also wouldn't it be funny if your girlfriend turned out to better at it than you?

Get a new set of keycaps . Then , type and only look down if you need to , once you're used to typing without looking down , change the keycaps back.
