I have got a massive list of parts that I want to buy, but only a limited budget at the moment, so I'm trying to prioritize.

To put everything into perspective, at the moment.

  • I have a Speedlink Medusa, which has a lot of background noise, and has already been replaced once.
  • I currently have one LG 24MP55HQ monitor, and a Dell 1907FPc
  • I have an odd assortment of Hard Drives including a WD Green 1TB, Seagate Barracuda 500GB, and a 2TB Toshiba hard drive pulled from an external drive
  • I have a Saitek Cyborg V7 Keyboard.

Now for my desired upgrades

  1. A Razer BlackWidow Ultimate: Mechanical keyboard to finally rid myself of membrane (for my main rig at least)
  2. Kingson HyperX Cloud headset: To replace my  broken Speedlink Medusa
  3. Crucial MX100 256GB: To hopefully improve the speed of my PC, currently takes a good couple minutes to boot fully.
  4. WD Black 1TB: A HDD with slightly better performance(so I can possibly put my WD Green and Seagate into a NAS.
  5. Razer Goliathus Speed Edition: Just a new mousemat, mine is currently an absolute state.
  6. LG Monitor: Second monitor, so I can have two identical montiors.
  7. Dual Monitor Stand: Pretty self Explanatory
  8. ModRight ModMat: Anti-Static mat for PC and Laptop repairs.

So My current priority order is 3, 1, 6, 2, 4, 7, 5, 8

Let me know if you think I should prioritize something ahead of something else, or give me some comments on anything.

Preferably list everything with the numbers i've used :)

Thanks :)

I'd get SSD first and then the monitor, if you really want a second one that is. You can simply upgrade your current monitor too.

Modmat is really not necessary if you know how to handle static build up. You can always get it though since it's not that expensive.

Not an advice for the upgrade order but as a mousepad I'd highly recommend SteelSeries QCK Heavy.

Forget about the HDD. Not necessary if you don't need extra storage.

Ok, so I'll give the WD Black a Miss, but in terms of the Mousmat I probably should have said I want to get the Extended version of the Goliathus, so I can put my keyboard and mouse on it, to cover and protect a larger portion of my desk from scratching/sliding keyboard

*edit*

Plus I like the green :D
