Posted September 18, 2014 I'm planning to build my first computer this year but I want to keep the budget at $1800. Can someone help me build a BEAST of a rig but keep it at 1800? I am mainly using this for gaming and it would be good if from time to time i would be able to do rendering on photoshop and whatnot. Please help, but don't worry about peripherals right now. Ill take care of that. The main point is I want this build to look sexy and also be a beast of a PC Link to comment https://linustechtips.com/topic/217232-need-a-1800-build/ Share on other sites
 Posted September 18, 2014 Here. Personally, I'll just take the 16GB RAM and have an i5 to save up money to have more powerful hardware components since you will be having light editing. If you will get the i5, you can swap out the HDD with a WD Black or have a higher storage capacity HDD.
