I'm going to bottom out the keys regardless.

Have o-rings to help with noise.

Which would be better for someone who isn't going to care about the actuation point?

How noticeable are the browns?

I'm going to push all keys right to the bottom (the o-ring)

I'm not sure if the bump is going to be annoying or not since I will press them all the way to the bottom regardless.

I have no way to test other than buy a key tester which I can't get in the UK for a decent price.

You don't have to bottom out with O-rings I run a brown with rings on it to stop the noise when I do bottom out (which is rare for me) but still love the actuation point without the rings. Maybe it is just me as I am a tactile guy and only went brown to satisfy work place noise complaints :)

I'd go browns.

The bump won't be annoying. If you press too hard you might not even feel it. It's when you're deliberately trying to type as softly as possible that you'll feel it the most and know where to stop.

I mean if you truly don't care about the actuation point, reds are the way to go, since you can't feel it. If you want to be able to feel the bump (and lift the key before bottoming out), then I would recommend browns. Since you say you plan on bottoming out the key every time, I just say go with reds.
