HTC One X

First off sorry if this was meant to go in the phone section.

 

My missus has a HTC One X and recently the screen just went black the phone itself still rings but can't answer the phone because the black screen, I can send it in for repairs but they are going to flash the phone but she doesn't have a back up of anything and there is no SD card it's all saved on the phone memory, so because of the black screen I can't unlock the phone to connect it to the PC because it's not recognized and I can't put it into developer mode to push/pull the data off using ADB.

 

Does anyone know of any way I can the data from the phone?

Doesn't work because as said I can't unlock the phone to connect to the PC because without unlocking the phone it's not recongnised by any PC

welp rip sorry but i dont think there's any magical way that you can get data without repairing the screen or anything

It's a pain because all the shops want to flash the phone to repair the screen it's stupid. I can do it but it's not my phone so if I break it I'd feel like shit >.> If it was my phone I wouldn't care

Ha! I laughed at that.

 

Yeah there is tons of small shops all quoting £100+ to fix it. Which is stupid amounts cause I can do it myself but like I said I'd feel shit if I broke the phone even more I've replaced tons of screen but the touch screen part is also broken.

 

Hopefully though because the phone still works and if I can make sure it's on her wifi I might be able to SSH from her laptop to the phone by using the router to guess the IP of the phone etc etc I'll try it tomorrow as I'm off and I guess we'll see.
