Hi Guys,

Ok so i have an issue with my Creative Wrath tactic 3d headset, please see link below for exact model. The issue is, when I'm using them they have this weird noise feeback, its kind of like a really quiet wind, even if they aren't even playing any sound, its just there in the back ground.

I thought maybe it was because i had the USB receive plugged into the USB port on my keyboard, but even if i give it a dedicated USB port, the weird wind sound is still there. I have updated drivers, re-installed drivers and after that I'm not sure what else to do.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

There are 2 possibilities that I can think of:

- There's a problem with your PC's case grounding, resulting in unwanted signals over all the USB ports (this unwanted signal is then translated into the noise on your headset)

- Seeing that it's wireless, there might a radio interference in your room. It doesn't have to be from nearby radio devices (like smartphones, etc). Sometimes it could be from a source far away, like radio transmitter, cellular towers, etc.

Hmm interesting. What ways can i go about checking a grounding issue?

Also would a close by Wifi router be an issue?

Thanks for the reply mate
