"stopped responding" after idle

Hey guys, I've to be fair but I've pretty old computer few years but I take care of it nicely so it still works fast and nicely tho there's just one problem.

 

Each time I left my computer for idle like 10-30 minutes most of the stuff I've open like browser, just some folder, skype etc basically everything slows down a lot and often goes into "stopped responding". I don't have screen saver and I'm running on Windows 7 64 bit.

Do you think if I turn off the stuff from power plan it would work?

I still wonder why it didn't happen before..wonder if stuff like norton 360 has to do something with it. Like doing stuff while being idle.
