Need help with picking the processor!

Basically I am looking for some help with the CPU selection (i5 or Xeon), trying to order this ASAP:

<500 EUR, Austria

2. Aim
Streaming, Arma2/Arma3, various other games

3. Monitors
1, currently 1680x1050, have another monitor that I will most likely swap to 1920x1080

4. Peripherals
No.

5. Why are you upgrading?
While I was able to stream at 720p on my old comp I would like to be able to run my game(s) better, at better quality and have a smoother stream/video for youtube editing.

7. Planned upgrades

CPU:

 

option 1) Intel Core i5-4690, 4x 3.50GHz 192.97 EUR

 

PROs: iGPU for Quick Sync, will take off the load from CPU for Arma, which is CPU intensive

CONs: iGPU is not performing that great at low bitrates (2-3k) with the current HD4800 so no point in using, maybe?

 

 

option 2) Intel Xeon E3-1231 v3, 4x 3.40GHz, Sockel 1150 221 EUR

 

PROs: HT, should be utilized by OBS 

CONs: Arma is not using HT

 

MB: ASRock H97 Pro4 84 EUR

SSD: Crucial MX100 256GB 111 EUR

RAM:  G.Skill RipJawsX DIMM Kit 8GB 71.22 EUR

Any particular reason you guys would prefer it over xeon? I mean HT does sound nice, and I saw some people reporting CPU usage at 30% instead of 80-90% on i5.

Ya it is true that it is cheaper, but If it was a big deal I would spend the extra. As far as why I am getting a non K solution. I was that you can save a lot by not having to buy a oveclocking MB, cooler etc and the price per gain is marginal. I am upgrading from a 4 year old phenom so I was OK with it.

 

At this point I am just looking at what will give me better streaming quality.
