I have a huge issue which I have tried to solve myself but can not.

Firstly what I'm using for my audio setup:

V-Moda Crossfade LP2- http://v-moda.com/crossfade-lp2-matte-black-metal/

V-Moda BroomPro Detachable Mircophone- http://v-moda.com/boompro-microphone/

NOTE I bought this because I already had the Headphones before starting PC gaming so this was an easy solution.

Maximus Hero 7 On board audio - http://www.asus.com/uk/Motherboards/MAXIMUS_VII_HERO/

Right on to the problem:

I am a huge fan of counter strike and play it everyday without fail, however due to the the extremely loud gun sounds in the game I have to have my game volume very low in order to hear my friends on teamspeak. However this means I can't hear other in game sounds such as the bomb being planted/defused or footsteps which is a huge problem when playing cs:go.

Does anyone have a solution to fix this?

Try turning down the master volume in CS:GO and turning up the volume of your teamspeak. I don't play CS:GO but there's usually an option for that in games under 'Audio' or 'Sound'.

I actually couldn't underclock my 5 year old GPU to make it as slow as a next-gen console.
