What are everyone's thoughts on StarCraft 2, races, units ect. Do you think a certain race is currently overpowered. I recently heard that blizzard are going to try to make Protoss better in the early game. What changes do you want made? Also who do you play as. I play as Terran.

This forum has a good community, and therefore I hope that it will not start, but I do understand what you are saying

For me, I don't care.. Seriously. Of the people that complain about the overpowered races and units etc, only 0.01% of them are ACTUALLY good enough for it to matter.

Here's the thing, unless you are playing at the top pro level, changing a unit's stats slightly won't make you win more, and if it did it's because the person you're up against is slightly worse than you. How? Here's how, because you and the person you're playing against you both are TERRIBLE. If you haven't noticed, in the low levels of play which are the majority of course, you win by making less mistakes than your opponent, not because you're necessarily ''better'' <point is highly arguable but as someone pointed out let's not turn this into a flam-orum, is that a real word? well now it is>

I do think however that certain races and units are overused, I mean it is to be expected, people will use what's easier.

Those are my thoughts.

I don't even play SC2, but for some reason am fascinated by it and watch a lot of pro matches on Twitch..... all I gotta say is..... Flash ftmfw, and Terran4Lyfe.

It's very balanced, only high level players may say protoss are a bit underpowered. But still there's no op race/strategy, if you don't scout AND learn how to counter, of course it seems unbalanced when you lose :P

Terran is the most balanced of the three races.

 

Zerg is the most over-powered of the three if you know how to build properly in late game.

 

Protoss is strong at start though a bit slow but they start to get a little under-powered late game.
