This is a small lowbudget project to change my case of my current build.

So far i have been extremely happy with my antec 300 case, but the lack of cable management is disturbing me. Also I would like to have some flashier inside it so I decided to order my self Fractal design r4 case with window on it!

Pictures of the current build:

Few scratches on the side of the case.

Front of the case, am i the only one who loves these stickers?

Inside the beast, bit of a mess.

Parts I am getting:

http://www.nzxt.com/product/detail/98-hue-case-accessory

Reason:

I like the look of the case, Ability to remove the hard drive case is plus since i only need 3 of them. Cable management seems good. It has enought fan placement and correct mounts so that i don't have to buy more fans. Also the case is quiet (i know window takes away some of it but i dont mind, I am not quiet freak like linus!)

I garbed the led controller because i first of all wanted to have some leds. After thinking hard wich colors i wanted i came in to a conclusion that I wanted to be able to change them. This controller was only one in my regions shop and i really liked the look of it.

Parts i ahve ight now inside the computer.

Intel core i5-3570k @ 4.1 ghz

asus p8z77-v lk

16 gb of kingston blu memory @ 1600 ghz

msi gtx 670 poweredition

antec hcg 620w powersupply

noctua nh-d14 cooler.

Expect updates when i receive the case in few days. Thoughts?

I had an Antec 300 and I hated it from the bottom of my heart so I bought a Thermaltake Armor Revo. Also, that's pretty much how my PC looked back in the days, all those ugly cables everywhere, hopefully you take new pictures when you put it together again with the new stuff.

*lowbudget* but has i5-3570k GTX670 16GBKingston Ram and a Noctua fan :D
The Fractal looks awesome !
You said you want a clean inside and something flashy. Why not buy white braided cable extensions ? :b
They don't cost that much and look very sexy.

I think a black and white color scheme would look elegant and nice in that case.

Maybe you can put the noctua fans in the front of the case where you don't see them and get some silent fans in another color for the cooler.

Intel Q6600@3.2Ghz | HD6870 | 8GB Corsair DDR3 1600Mhz
BF3 medium settings | no vSync | 1080p | 50-70fps (:

Hehe. Well i bought the case for my first budget computer. Later when ingot money i upgraded the insides. Now i have bit of a money to upgrade the case and make it bling bit with 250 euros ;)

Hmm good idea with the cable extensions. I am too lazy to even think about braiding the cables them self so extensions would not hurt. Will look in to that!

UPDATE: Case will arrive in seventh of june :D

Now i have been planing to sleeve the cables of the powersuply instead of getting extension cables. Mainly due that i have never done it before and want to try out. For the color patern i was thinking as suggested black and white. I was thinking also removing the stickers from the psu since the color on it is red and white.

Also i got a wild idea to dye my noctua fans to match the colors...

Took me while to realize what these actually are but i guess they are some sort of fancy cable management things. Not bad

Now i just need to wait for the case and the sleevings to arrive. Cant wait to star assembling this.
