Overclocking monitors

Does overclocking monitors void the warranty of the monitor? Can the manufacturer even find out that you have been overclocking monitors?

I'd assume it probably does. You're pushing it past it's validated specs. I'm not sure if they can find out if you reset it back to normal though.

 

Overclocking monitors still sounds bizarre to me xD
