I've got a feeling you only moved the boot sector over, not windows actual files.

how?  you can't boot windows installs on other hardware, it doesn't work

^This. You can't put an OS from one PC to another (where the HW is different), because it won't work. You need to fresh install it + sometimes if you have 2 drives connected during a windows installation, the boot sector isn't on the same disk as the OS itself.
