P-states on amd gpu with minecraft
im not new to pc gaming actually. and i know my 60hz monitor will only show me 60fps. but with 400+ fps rendered it will never miss a frame when displaying. but if my gpu is only doing 45-60 constant. when it dips to 45 i will see the difference. im just trying to get the smoothest/cleanest look at all times. i dont mine overhead frames being lost to the computer gods aslong as i get 60fps constant displayed on my panel.
It's not your gpu that is the problem. It's the game code. It's awful. It's poorly optimized. It's not that your cpu or gpu cannot handle the game at that framerate it just because the code is bad. So again I just suggest turning down draw distance if you want more framerate. You hardware is not going to be utilized. Some games are just not made well. Minecraft is one of them.
