I have  been looking at how all this new stuff is around, especially with the release of the new X99 platform and CPUs made for it, and asking is it worth upgrading my current cpu mobo and possibly ram.  I currently have an i5-2400 in a P8Z77-V LX and with 16 GB (4x4) 1600 mhz ram. WOuld it be worth it to just upgrade the cpu or get  new parts instead. Also my video is a Sapphire R9 280x Toxic edition OC and 750 watt gold PSU.

CPU: 5900X   MOBO: MSI Tomahawk x570
MEM: G.Skill 32gb (2 x 16gb) 3600
GPU: Asus tuf oc 3080

May add the other bits of my system later on

Oh I know Im not gonna go X99. But possibly Z97, Just wondering if it would be better to either upgrade the CPU or all of it or hell even wait for a while. I should of said earlier I made this system in 2012 and the GPU  and PSU was within the last few months.
