Recently I've upgraded my laptop's hard drive from an ancient WD 250 5400 rpm to a new WD 750GB 7200rpm (not the best upgrade in the world )) ) and the problem is that after I cloned the old drive, that has a couple of months old windows 7, to the new drive I my laptop is not able to normally resume to windows from sleep. Each time I get a BSOD or just an instant shut down at boot time.

I've tried to format the new drive and install a new copy of windows 7 but the problem persists. Also I've check the drive for bad sectors and nothing found.... How can I check what is the root cause of the problem?

PS when I get BSOD there is no log at all in Action Center app. With old drive in place I have no issues at all everything is working perfectly but it soooo slow ))

Thanks.
