Hello everyone,

I want to know if I could install cyanogenmod on my huawei y300 even though it isn´t supported.

Or if i would run a higher risks of bricking it.

Just remember that if you have Verizon, (assuming you live in the US), don't use cyanogen mod. Also, make sure you keep a backup of the stock phone in case it does go brick so if you take it into you carrier they don't flip their shit

I use Cyanogen on verizon? Works fine as long as I use their app for sms.

My friend tried to do it on verizon, he got into trouble for it, and then when I asked around on forums people just said "dont do it on verizon"

lol, I install tons of custom roms on my verizon galaxy s4 and they dont say anything.

It might just be that you're state division or whatever verizon has set up like that is less strict than mine
