Computer temperatures

Go to solution Solved by airdeano,

normally, your CPU idle temps would be 5-8° above ambient temperature. so

looking at the MIN stat, you are within range of normal with your 30° ambient

reading. no real way to lower that idle temp other than lowering the ambient.

Hi,

I bought a new PC just a while ago and I want some opinions on my temperatures ..

I took some snapshots 5 minutes after gaming ,and I just want to know if everything is fine..

Room temperature is about 30C ,so it's quite hot here..

I'm using;

Core i5 4460

Asus Vanguard B85

Arctic cooling freezer 7 pro rev.2 with mx-4 thermal paste.

EVGA 760 2GB

5 Antec two-cool fans using 2 for intake and 3 for exhaust, Automatically controlled by the BIOS...

I think those are not very good temperatures, but anyway... what do you think ?

Are those idle temps? 40 - 46c idle is a bit much.

Shot through the heart and you're to blame, 30fps and i'll pirate your game - Bon Jovi

Take me down to the console city where the games are blurry and the frames are thirty - Guns N' Roses

Arguing with religious people is like explaining to your mother that online games can't be paused...
