what programme to use ?

Hello guys , i finally finishe python and i am ready to start developing my own programme

But i need a software for design my characters

What software have they used to design all the characters and the house ?

 

I will probably create my game in unity so it can be played by both platforms ( ios and android)

There are renderers for 3D modelers that make them look cartoony.

For Blender,that would be Freestyle.

Example :

 

Even if you have the 3D model,you don't necesarilly have to use it.You can simply render images of the character,and use them as sprites(the usual method for 2D games).

Or...you could draw them.Your choice really.
