New gaming build

s7ormborn

Hi guys, i did a PC build myself but as i'm not really into hardware i'd really appreciate some advice form you guys :))

Here's my build so far:

PC Case: Cooler Master Storm Stryker Side Window.

Motherboard: ASUS Z97 -K.

HDD: Seagate 1000gb 7200 barracuda.

SSD: Samsung 250gb Solid state drive 840 evo.

RAM: Geil  2x8gb DDR III Evo Leggera CL9.

CPU: Intel Core i7 4790k.

Video card: Gigabyte Gtx 780Ti Windforce.

PSU: Seasonic SS-750KM3 750W.

Also for a monitor i'll probably be getting a ASUS VG248QE.

I won't be overclocking anything...

So what do you think is that a good build :?

Depends on what you're going to do with the computer? (Gaming or maybe Edit/Rendering?)

The items you've picked are good.. But are they needed? :)

If you aren't overclocking, get a non-K cpu. If you're just gaming, this build is overkill and could be done for less.

If your only gaming you could scale back on a few of these parts ( CPU, Mobo, maybe even the GPU. yes the 780 Ti is king but very expensive)

PS where can i get that 1000GB HDD? :)

Ryzen 7 5800X3D, Corsair H105, Gigabyte x570 Aorus Elite, Corsair Vengeance 32GB 3600MHz, EVGA RTX 3070Ti FTW3, Samsung 850 Pro / WD SN850 / OCZ Trion 150

ASUS MG279Q, Corsair Carbide 275R
