Windows Product Key Invalid

I had been having a few weird issues with windows last week, and after making a topic here the best recommendation was to simply reinstall windows, which I did without any major issues. Except when I came back to my computer yesterday to be greeted with a window telling me my product key is invalid, to I re-entered the OEM key on the sticker of my PC, only for the message to reappear today. Not sure what  exactly to do since I know this key is genuine. Is my only option left to use the telephone activation?

Telephone activation is fine. All you do is say the numbers. You don't even talk to a real person

Do the phone activation and if that doesn't work press the number to speak to a person at Microsoft.

Ah I didnt realise it was automated. Anyway, just done the phone activation and it seems to have been successful,  but then so did entering the code to begin with so.
