Help me choose my case PLEASE!

Go to solution Solved by airdeano,

Nvidia GTX 780

Corsair H110 CPU liquid Cooler.

I will be going watercooling in the future but not just yet.

860W Corsair AX860 Full Modular PSU

to use future h2o cooling you'll need either:

360x 60 radiator (overclock CPU and one overclocked GPU) or

240/280x 60 radiator plus 240x 60mm (overclock CPU and one overclocked GPU)

360x 60 radiator and 240x 60 (overclock CPU and two overclocked GPU)

this will limit your case search for future water-cooling efforts.

the 860/i will be enough for SLI if using tri-SLI, then the 1200

airdeano

I'm about to build my new PC, I know exactly what i want in my case, the problem is, i Cant decide on my case, these are the things i want in the case:

Z87 Motherboard, probably something around £200, because i may want to go SLI.

Nvidia GTX 780

Corsair H110 CPU liquid Cooler.

I will be going watercooling in the future but not just yet.

4 - 6 additional fans for better air flow.

1200W Corsair Professional Series AX1200 Full modular PSU/ 860W Corsair AX860 Full Modular PSU (depends on If i want to go SLI or not)

3TB hard drives (3 X 1TB)

2 X 256GB SSDs (probably Samsung)

xonar xense sound card

(I haven't included RAM and CPU because obviously their space doesn't effect the case.)

for my current 2 years old rig i use Cooler Master HAF 912.

my Budget for the case is around £200, maybe £300 depending on how much haswell and Z87 will cost.

the cases i like are: the Corsair 900D (only thing that stops me from getting it is the size), NZXT Phantom 410, Phantom 820, Switch 810, Phantom 630, Corsair 600T (this one i Love but, because of the price, i keep thing i may as well get a full tower case for that price), Corsair VengenceC C70. That's all i can think of.

I don't know which one to get to suit my needs, i also don't know if there are any better ones than these, i'd like to have a high end gaming tower because for my last build i didn't quite care about the space.

My ideal case should have good Cable management, Good Air flow and lots of room for fans, Fairly Quite, and fairly spacious because i am quite interested in making my rig Watercooled for the first time.

Please help me choose a case and if there are cases you think are better than these, please let me know
Cheers!

Are you looking just for the case or all those parts, im confused.

I would say, stay away from NZXT, personally i LOVE the 600t but it doesnt seem to fit all your needs,

From the cases you've named I would go for the Corsair options, but not the 900D. You don't need those kind of cases when you're just going to put some (crappy) AIO - Solution in there.

Another option from the Obsidian Series would be the 350D which can house a H110, at least from what I've read.

That power supply is complete overkill for even two 780's. Buy a 850-watt and use that money for a better case or something else. I should also add that getting a 900D for a AIO cooler is just overkill and a waste of money. The 900D is good for custom watercooling setups. You really don't need such a gigantic case for a H110. Look at something like the Corsair 600T, 550D,500R, or something around that price point.
