so i already bought most of the items here in the list except the motherboard and the cpu cooler http://pcpartpicker.com/user/caij17/saved/jkLFf7

asrock extreme z97 extreme 6 seems like a god mobo and is blue which is the theme im going for but im also leaning towards z97 sabertooth mark2 for the durability

i might choose the intel closed liquid cooler for the looks or i could go with a corsair h80i(same price, probably better cooling) or 212 evo (cheap air)

any advice on which mobo and coolers? suggesting new ones would be good too(hopefully blue but not so important)

212 evo is great for air cooling, if you want an AIO watercooler I would suggest the h100i.

Specs: CPU - Intel i7 8700K @ 5GHz | GPU - Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming | Motherboard - ASUS Strix Z370-G WIFI AC | RAM - XPG Gammix DDR4-3000MHz 32GB (2x16GB) | Main Drive - Samsung 850 Evo 500GB M.2 | Other Drives - 7TB/3 Drives | CPU Cooler - Corsair H100i Pro | Case - Fractal Design Define C Mini TG | Power Supply - EVGA G3 850W

note: the pirce list in partspicker isnt the amount i paid for the items. sorry for not mentioning

@Kappa thanks. i got the case for about a 100$ (with rebate) which included 3 120mm blue led fans. i couldnt pass it up and i like how sturdy it looked. i was supposed to get the vapor-x but couldnt pass up the sale newegg had on the tri-x about a week ago lol. All of the parts i bought had some sort of discounts actually.

@i was thinking about the h100i but i sort of want a single fan cooler to replace my rear exhaust. if i placed it on top could it hinder my fans there? i heard air coolers like the 212 evo are difficult to install correctly and stress the mobo? is that really true? i could save some money by going air..
