Personal Experience with EVGA's Step Up

I know this is a popular topic. Many people know the rules and regulations. Many people ask about the details. I'm looking for anyone with first hand experience. Have you used their Step Up program? I see the estimate a few weeks turnover and require the trade in cards to be sent in and verified first. I have the normal warranty plan (the one that doesn't cost anything) and am curious as to about how long I will be without a GPU when I step up. FYI I live in California.

Well the main thing I know is that you need to be within 60 days of the purchase of your current EVGA video card.
