  1. Click the Start button 4f6cbd09-148c-4dd8-b1f2-48f232a2fd33_47., click All Programs, right-click the Startup folder, and then click Open.
  2. Open the location that contains the item to which you want to create a shortcut.

  3. Right-click the item, and then click Create Shortcut. The new shortcut appears in the same location as the original item.

  4. Drag the shortcut into the Startup folder.

The next time you start Windows, the program will run automatically.

Is there any way to open minecraft with out having to keep pressing the run option, and just start it up to the log in screen. 

There is a checkbox that you can uncheck on the run page that pops up that will solve your problem :)

sorry i misunderstood the question on the standard current Launcher there is no way but on the 1.6 dev version there is an  option to "sign me in automatically"
