Im looking into a APU build and want a nice board that i can OC on, thanks. Also what is the highest end apu?

7850k is the highest end APU, though the 760k is pretty much the same thing minus the half the price and the iGPU.

These are the best FM2+ boards imo but they are pricey,

Using any of those though is not cost effective considering the meh performance increases that you would get from OC'ing an APU. One of these would be a better choice,

Can I ask why you want to do this?

MSI A78M-E45 is perfect for me and should be great for you

The OP wants to OC, that board only has a 4-pin cpu connector and that will limit overclocks.

A88X or bust...

Still, I've got an GA-F2A55M-DS2 rev 1.0 and I can overclock...

I'm just telling you what the OP stated in their post, if you had read it you would have seen that he wants to overclock and you wouldn't(unless you didn't know) have suggested a board with a  4 pin CPU connector. AMD chips are power hungry and they can easily max out the juice that a single 4 pin can provide when overclocking.

Im making a living room build for my fam. Might as well throw in a apu for light gaming.

If light gaming is the idea then you don't need to overclock, a 7850k at stock speeds with 1600Mhz RAM is capable enough. If you want more performance you would get more out of faster RAM than overclocking. The iGPU using DDR3 system RAM is the primary reason for it to not perform as well as a dedicated GPU with similar specs. You should just get an average board and forgo the overclocking all together.

Probably better off running an Intel build.

Something like this CPU and this GPU will give you far better gaming performance than a APU while costing the same.

Plus there are a lot more LGA 1150 Micro ITX boards on the market to choose from that run nearly the same price as AMD boards.
