Hi guys.

Got a question. I've got blocks for my CPU (FX 8150) and the northbridge (AMD 990FX chipset) and a 80mm thick 360mm rad in push/pull.

What is a good flow rate i should look for in my pump. Is 500-700lp/h suitable

Thanks guys.

Flow rate doesn't work like that. What you put there is the maximum low rate of the pump. Different pumps have different flow rate vs restrictiveness curve.

In terms of pumps get a Laing pump, don't cheap out. Both Laing pumps available will be fine for this loop. Laing pumps are incredibly reliable and perform very well.

I was looking at this. Any thoughts?

The Laing pump I would chosse is the "Laing DDC 3.25 Pump 900L/h" (http://specialtech.co.uk/spshop/customer/Laing-DDC-325-Pump-900Lhr-18W--DDC-325-pid-15942.html and then couple it with an MCRES Micro Rev 2.

Well you know what I'm going to say; go for the laing pump, you will not be dissapointed. Besisdes that what you picked is perfectly fine. Its important to note that all DDC and D5 pumps are Laing, if you ever want to pick a cheaper/more expensive pump..

No other pumps compare to the Laing D5. Get one and save yourself a lot of stress thinking that your computer might die in the middle of a gaming session... Horrible to have that happen...

The DDC has exactly the same MTBF. Its just as good. In fact iirc all DDC pumps come with a tacho/rpm wire so they are arguably more reliable.
