Why doesn't my G400 work?

I just wanted to give my good ol g400 a try again and I connected it in but it didn't respond. I move with the mouse but the cursor doesn't move at all. I tried waiting but nothing. I tried unplugging and plugging it in again but nothing. I tried this multiple times, still nothing.

like the laptop works and all and the touchpad its just that the mouse doesnt at all. i move it the cursor, doesnt though. but when i plug it in my logitech g mouse software detects the mice yet still it doesnt work.

No. nothing works. I can click, scroll like the buttons aren't stuck but when I plug the mouse in it just doesn't work. I move the mouse but the cursor won't move at all.

Try it in another pc.

 

Well if nothing else works, return it and if you are out of the warranty period go buy another mouse.

Well I have a new mouse( today is it's 2 month birthday!!!) but I was just giving my ol g400 a try and comparing it to this one.

Use a multimeter an check if the cable is broken :-p
