How much RAM?

 eGPU Setup: Macbook Pro 13" 16GB DDR3 RAM, 512GB SSD, i5 3210M, GTX 980 eGPU

New PC: i7-4790k, Corsair H100iGTX, ASrock Fatal1ty Z97 Killer, 24GB Ram, 850 EVO 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD, GTX 1080 Fractal Design R4, EVGA Supernova G2 650W

CPU- AMD FX 8320 (stock clocked 3.5Ghz)

GPU- Gigabyte R9 280x WIndforce cooler

MOBO- Asus M5A97 R2.0

HDD- Seagate Barracuda 1TB

SSD- Samsung 840 EVO 250GB

PSU- Corsair CX600M

CPU Cooler- Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO

RAM- Kingston HyperX Fury

Whatchya think?

 

with 8GB of ram the build is solid for a couple years

Personally I just got myself a MX100 because of the price/GB, but it's really up to you :)

The cooler might not be enough for OCing, but it's up to whether you want to OC (It's kinda a waste not to OC an unlocked processor, though, and the 8320's Single-core performance isn't great)

Remember to be a good citizen and choose a 'best answer' when your problem has been resolved!

(that way people know when a problem's been resolved)
