Good day LTT!

I need help ASAP regarding my Graphics Card..

last night, I was up late doing assignments and when I woke up the GPU started malfunctioning..

There was no display from my monitor but the fans are spinning and the graphics card is still producing heat... when I tried to connect the VGA cable to the motherboard graphics everything was fine and it was on the user screen...

I dont remember making any changes that night.. the last thing I installed was Photoshop.

I tried doing a system restore but it keeps failinf saying error 0x0002 (or something like that)

Please help me :(

Thank you in advance!!

what GPU is it, and try reseating it - take it out and plug it back in, maybe it somehow got loose?

Wait for it to cool off for a bit after you turn your PC off, you can get burnt.

Sometimes if the card is 7 years old, and not a high-end card.

I think that it might have just died of old age - try reseating it and using a different PCIe slot, but if it doesn't work, then I'm sorry :/

BTW what are the components in the rest of the system? Maybe it's time for an upgrade :P

I am afraid your GPU seems to be dead :( . 7-10 years is usually a normal life span for hardware.
