ASUS bios glitch?

My chassis rpm speeds are going crazy and I dont know if its a bios glitch

 

The rpm of the chassis fans randomly x5 its original speed and goes back normal again. One time it showed it going to max speed but it was normal. Should I return my motherboard?

I never mess with the bios. I just built my computer and never fussed with the settings.

this or your fan have some problem or you can connect your fans via molex instead, if your fans continue to spin crazy if your connect in via molex then it could be your fan that's causing it

so far, i don't know of a commercial PC fan that can do 675000rpm.

 

so either the PCB in the fan is foul or motherboard is not capable to deliver

proper voltage to the fan. what fans are you using?

Im using the stock fans my Corsair 230T came with. They're connected to my motherboard I have an M5A97 R2.0 with 3 fans connected

Ive had this computer since april and nothing bad has happened. I think this error is nothing major.

the earlier mobos really don't have the control like the newest versions as they

were just experimenting with voltage control. you might try a custom profile within

the UEFI (if equipped) to verify header integrity. doubtful though, other than a

3rd party softie to control the fans, i'd go PSU power and voltage reducers or

wire them 5volt for quiet operation.
