Alright so i'm gonna build a LAN rig because i hate walking around with my atx atm.

 

So here's the stuff i'm gonna use, what do you guys think?

 

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-B85N PHOENIX

 

CPU: Intel Pentium G3220

 

GPU: Gigabyte HD6850 (I'm using this one because i have it in scrap atm, might switch it out later)

 

RAM: Mushkin Silverline 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600Mhzzzz

 

Storage: Mushkin Direct Atlas Deluxe 240GB mSATA SSD (Might add a 1tb or 2tb drive later for dat steam library)

 

Power Supply: Fractal Design Integra R2 500W 80+ Bronze

 

Case: Fractal Design Node 304 (White)

EDIT 1: Gonna let you guys know that i'm in Iceland and getting Corsair and Noctua is very hard and 2-3x more pricey than in the US/Canada

I would personally go for a G3258, compatible OC board and H212EVO to maximize performance.

What about something like this? The case is more budget friendly and has a ton of airflow.

I went for the G3220 because i work in a computer/electronics retail store and we have the G3220 on stock right now and we don't have the G3258 :(

 

I'm going for the Fractal Design Node 304 white edition because i get it on a staff discount but not the H212EVO as we do not have corsair.

Oops, must have been clear about it.

 

The H212EVO is my abbreviation for Hyper 212 EVO, the Cooler Master CPU cooler.

 

The G3220 should work well, the build looks good for the most part.

We didn't know that :)

If the prices of those parts make sense there, go ahead, but try finding a good i3 or a Pentium G3258 around there, the 3220 is on the weak side

Yeah i thought about getting an I3 (it's only 50$-60$ more) But i'm not sure if it will impact my experience as i am only playing games on it.
