Hi everyone,

I'm planing to build a pc for gaming and coding, priority will be gaming but also plan to run python code and some database servers (just for fun). What i want for this machine is:

  • Capable to play at 1080p, at least high quality on recent games.
  • I will be doing some parallel processing with python and database servers at the same time, so a multicore CPU  would be nice, OpenCL will be too, but not necessary.
  • Moderate overclocking is a must.

I picked these parts http://pcpartpicker.com/p/qGtZXL but probably i went disproportionate on hardware, so any advice to save some bucks are welcome.

Thanks

Swap the psu to this instead.

Swap the cpu to the 8320 and just overclock it yourself.

Also I would suggest an aftermarket cooler such as the Coolermaster Hyper Evo 212. The stock AMD one is pretty noisy.
