My friend got a shield for his birthday but his 670m wont support streaming so we are building a him a cheap streaming PC. We already have a gtx 750, 4gbs of ram and a HDD we just need a board and cpu. We were wondering if an Athlon X4 750k is supported considering its FM2 and the minimum cpu required is an AM3 socket.

I really have no idea. What laptop does he have? Depending on the laptop, he could upgrade to a kepler GPU (his is fermi, and thus why it cannot game-stream) and it may cost less overall.

I have finally moved to a desktop. Also my guides are outdated as hell.
