Hello everyone (First time posting)

I have been planning to build my own pc for a while now.

I plan to use it for mostly gaming. And some SMALL 3d rendering once in a while. There is no monitor on the parts list but ill just pick up a cheap monitor somewhere. I currently play Battlefield 4 and Titanfall. and sometimes Watch Dogs.

So without further ado, here is my 600$ U.S. parts list:

CPU: AMD Athlon x4 760k (planning to upgrade to kaveri a bit later)

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-F2A88X-UP4

GPU: Gigabyte  Radeon R9 280 3gb Windforce

RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws Series 8gb 2x4gb ddr3 1600Mhz

Storage: Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5' 7200rpm Internal hard drive

Case: Corsair SPEC-02 ATX Mid Tower Case

PSU: Corsair Builder 500w 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply

PcPartPicker: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2yNCZL

So there is my list. First off, are all of these parts 100% compatible? Second, will this play Battlefield Hardline  and Titanfall on high at least at 30fps? Next, how long before I will have to upgrade?

Please note that I am planning to upgrade to a nice Kaveri after buying this and saving up for it.

The reason that i didn't go with the more "performances aim" fx series is that it is dying out.

Thanks to all who reply. I am just a noob wanting to play some games on decent settings :)

I wouldn't recommend FM2 socket, not much choice at all...

Get an AM3+ set, so you can actually upgrade to proper CPU's later on.

I had FM2 before, and i had to buy a new motherboard to upgrade my CPU.

As i said before, The am3+ socket is supposedly dying. Also, I am planning on selling the 760k and saving up for a fm2+ Kaveri soon after I completed this build. But the main question I have is Will it run games at the fps and settings i have listed?

The AM3+ socket isn't dying nearly as much as the FM2 socket. The are releasing new CPUs for the AM3+ socket.
