Yes, but very small impact (1 second?), that's why you should get fast memory but your problem is your mb :S

Yea but I really don't want to upgrade, re-installing OS + programs on SSD is a pain in the ass imho. Will this suffice? it's cheaper but it's not in the QVL http://www.gskill.com/en/product/f3-10666cl9d-8gbnt-
