LG E2260 interface problem.

Hey everyone, so I recently made my first build, it's pretty bad ass and I'm really excited about it. Although there is a problem, I bought my Sapphire r9 290 Tri-x, and I have an LG e2260 monitor. It's 22 inch, but the problem is, the only thing that it has in the back is one D-SUB and one DVI-D port. The r9 290 doesn't have a D-SUB and I've never used a DVI-D . I mean is it good? Does it change anything or the performance is still the same? Should I buy a D-SUB to HDMI cable or something like that?

DVi cable would be the best apart from display port. Get a DVi cable, I use DVi for both my monitors
