if your not overclocking then it's not needed. btw you can't oc that cpu anyway and having a cpu cooler would give lower temps and would be more quiet than the stock cooler

For lower noise levels, yes. Wouldn't cost too much either. Check out the Hyper 212 EVO.

stock cooler in my PC is quiet. I don't see much of a point if you're not overclocking.
