So I just built my gaming system from ground up. Now I'm fine tuning it. I came across this problem of SSD Syndrome where I installed my whole Windows 8.1 OS on my 120 SSD but I do have 1T HDD for storage (OS on SSD, Mass Storage on HDD). The problem is, I'm having hard time relocating the user's folders (This PC > Local Disk(C:) > Users > Your name > Desktop, Documents, Downloads, Musics, Pictures, Videos etc) from my SSD to my HDD. I've looked around how to do it. They say right click on each of the user's folders individually, then down to "properties", then on "location" tab, then change the link from C:/Users/Deuel18/Folder to something like D:/Users/Deuel18/Folders. I did it. The relocation worked like magic but my SSD still has the same amount of data in usage and my HDD wasn't filled up at all like nothing changed virtually. Any help guys?

You have to move the files yourself to the new directory.

Not entirely true scaryjam823, you can use "SyncToy" by microsoft. I use it. You can select the folder you want to sync across to a new location. This moves EVERYTHING in the folder. So it is the best way to copy files accross and you can actually select the option to move the files accross.

Give that a go, I highly recommend it, saves me time moving mass data accross my network
