Budget Gaming PC

Hi,

My friend is planning to buy a new PC next month and he asked me for a piece of advice in terms of picking the parts. His budget is around 650 USD. He will use his PC mostly for gaming, racing games to be exact, so he doesn't need super fast CPU. I've done some research and I tried to pick some good parts. What do you guys think about this spec?

 

GPU: ASUS Radeon R9270X

CPU: AMD FX-6300

Power Supply: Corsair CX500M

Motherboard: ASrock 970 Extreme3

Case: Corsair Carbide Series 300R

Ram: Corsair Vengeance Low Profile 8GB 1600MHz CL10

HDD: Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB

 

That's a bit more than 650USD (at least in my country), so I'd like to ask you which parts are good, which should be changed to match 650USD (if that's achievable). Parts also can be slightly more expensive, if they give significant change in performance.

To make it more inexpensive you could try an fm2/fm2+ motherboard and an athlon 750k/760k. And also an r9 270 non x version.
